Hey guys many of you that know me also know tht im in Iraq. I am an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician for the airforce. Basicly that means that im on the bomb squad, any IED's or any explosive hazards are my responsibility to take care of. okay now that that is out of the way at the end of the month the 28th to be exact I will be attempting to break the world record for the fastest mile run in a bomb suit. The race is a benift for the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation a chairty that supports wounded EOD techs and their familys. http://www.woundedeodwarrior.org/

Here are a few links to the person that initally started the record and then the guy that was first to break it. I plan to be the second person to break the record I am shooting for a 9:30 mile wearing a 75lb kevlar suit with balistic plates rubber over boots and a 13lb helmet.

If you rattastic fellows love challanges as much as I do you will get a kick out of this. Im asking to spread the word and help a good cause donate a dollar in support of the wounded EOD warrior foundation in the remarks section say that you are supporting the bomb suit mile!

Haha you guys crack me up! the reason they put that on there is because most explosive are nitrate based and you can get high off of it. Back in vietnam they used to dip c4 like chewing tobacco and get crazy high off of it. They also used to light it on fire to keep warm it is stable enough that you can let it burn and it wont detonate, not really a good idea though
