KELMO
I'm diggin the anti theft device. Looks like there are some decent donor trim parts. Quote Link to comment
littlejason
Hey Morrisun, I sighted you in Sellwood the other day. That Datsun is even grosser than mine, thanks for sharing the pics! Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
or best offer. I would offer $100. If it runs good, $200. 1200s are not too rare, there are a dozen for sale right now, you can get a nice one for $2000. That interior is early 90s I would say. Mighta looked nice at one time. Morrisun
I offered him $200.00. It does run and the windshield is good. As bad as the car looks the rear trunk area was all there, plastic trim panels were whole and intact and the deck lid was the best looking panel on the car. Owner say he has a guy in Florida interested in the car! Quote Link to comment

Not to be too forward but I would buy those tail lights from you if you were willing to let them go for a good price. I could seriously use them. Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
I went shopping again today in Portland Oregon. Found a pair of coupe tail lights with gaskets, a right side sedan tail light and 71' sedan grill and headlight door- right side all at local wrecking yard. They also had the back glass with defroster for 1200 coupe for $75.00- didn't buy the glass. I will PM you when I sort out my tail lights. Have some extra lenses but a little short on whole assemblies! What do you need?? I will post pictures of what I bought today later tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
1200 sedan grill and right headlight door and coupe tail lights. Back of coupe lights- good gaskets! No rust on the metal mounting strips Trunk lid- no dents! My car was an automatic car, now 5 speed! Datsun stainless steel wheel cap, they fit my Watanabe wheels! Was fun running around in my 1200 coupe, but out of leads! Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
I found set (4) of U.S. Indy mags 12X5 in the swap meet at Clark County Fairgrounds 4 on 4.5, backspacing is about 3.5-NO curb rash!! Classic old school 1200 wheels. Just never know what you will find in with drag racers pile of wheels. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
Got a 1200 sedan grill emblem you want to part with? ^_^ Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
I don't know if I have one "unattached" from a Sedan grill, going to Datsun Garage on Tuesday, I will take a look and let you know. Quote Link to comment

No worries. Not life or death, just thought it'd be nice to have just in case. Kinda digging it without the emblem, so... ^_^ Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
Yes, I know it took awhile longer, (silly season will slow anyone down) looked at home in the stash, and at the Datsun Garage- sorry all emblems are on grills. I ran across 10 emblems for coupe grills and 5-6 that mount on the rear tail light panel, but that stands to reason, twice as many coupes were imported as Deluxe Sedans! If I run across one, let you know. Quote Link to comment

Looked through all my stuff and realized I had 5 coupe grill emblems and 3 rears. No idea where they all came from... I've actually never seen a sedan in person except at JCCS... Morrisun
In the greater Portland area, the renegade autocross club I race with has 3 1200 sedans, Smurf is the only coupe. Maybe more sedans around because Portland was Port of Entry for Datsun? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Maybe more sedans around because Portland was Port of Entry for Datsun? Anything's possible. I can tell you in the last 15 years I've seen at least 12 coupes here in Texas. Never a single sedan... Quote Link to comment
njoz1200ute
Have you seen my 1200 ute..... The General Ree in TX? Sold it to someone down there. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Have you seen my 1200 ute..... The General Ree in TX? Sold it to someone down there. Seen it on craigslist a few times, never in person... But one of my good friends has had a ute for10 years now. The novelty has worn off a bit. ^_^ Quote Link to comment
njoz1200ute
I have a weird feeling it is going to end up on an episode of Fast N Loud. When I move back to the USA I am going to make a General Ree coupe race car. General Ree 2.0. Thinking hot L series build. And going to keep my other 1200 ute a series. Twin carb. dozenhundred
If you do buy that coupe, I'd buy the rear panel off you. I need one bad. Don't care if it has a little rust. You mention having some lenses for a coupe. Do you happen to have a passenger side back up light lens? Also looking for a driver side plastic trunk panel. Quote Link to comment
