Rubberman
Hey Bob, I put some pics up on my project thread of the 720 carpet kit. I don't have it fully cut in, but if you got any questions, just ask. Quote Link to comment
oldsklminitrk
I ordered the 720 kc kit for mine and it took some trimming and such but it was enough to hide the body drop panels on mine and cover the kick panels Quote Link to comment
slodat
I do make 620 carpet sets. They are made to order. PM if you want info.. Quote Link to comment
gbuck
The carpet in my 78 KC is pretty badly molded! You can have it... FREE! It stinks a bit though.:lol: (Sorry, somebody had to!!) Quote Link to comment
Rubberman
Slodat, have you got any pics of them installed? Do you make them to tuck up and behind the kick panels and do they go over the door seal up under the door seal trim piece? Quote Link to comment
slodat
I don't have photos with me. I need to do a proper photo shoot sort of thing. The run flush along side the kick panels that I make. Both edges are finished with the same material (vinyl) and it looks very nice. Quote Link to comment
Jester
How much for a carpet kit Slodat? Quote Link to comment
slodat
I use a very high quality automotive upholstery carpet that I buy from my upholstery supply distributor. I sew the carpet much like a seat cover is constructed, so it fits the contour of the floor very nicely. It has a matching edge binding and looks like what you would find in a street rod. A set for a 620 KC is $350 shipped. Standard cab is $325 shipped. That includes a set of matching floor mats. I actually have some time to get a set made for you if you would like it. I use paypal and require full payment up front due to the cost of the materials and time involved in making it. I'm willing to do the five sets for $50 less than the above prices. First come, first served... Quote Link to comment
AZhitman
Slodat, I'm interested in a kit when / if you get back to it... I'm guessing you can do different colors (med gray, perhaps?) Quote Link to comment
