OpelWagenGT
I went and got new license plates and tabs for the car threw those on and adjusted the rear drums and parking brake. Took it for a spin around edmonds and I give it and A+ for drivability. The only problem I had was that my calipers I think are still rubbing, but only when the brakes are depressed. so I might have to grind more off.... Quote Link to comment
Curt_pnw
That's awesome dude! I want a ride! :) Quote Link to comment
Bleach
Get bigger wheels! :) Or 280ZX 14" wheels at least. What calipers are those anyway? and did you end up using the 280ZX springs? Quote Link to comment
OpelWagenGT
and did you end up using the 280ZX springs? Not yet, as soon as I can afford tires for the wheels I'm planning for the car I'm going to put the springs I got from you in the front and 2 or 3 inch blocks in the back. :D Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Sounds like you have the wrong wheels. Wheel spacers should fix the problem. If you want a set of original 12" wheels, let us know... Quote Link to comment
OpelWagenGT
yeah I guess I screwed up I figured the wheels would fit since they were off of a 510 but you know I am new to this. Quote Link to comment
compression
Those Gi-normous rear flares are hilarious! I guess the original owner thought he needed some 10" wide rims for that A12. Keep up the good work! Quote Link to comment
SIXTY-NINE-DIME
those wheels didnt fit??? Quote Link to comment
OpelWagenGT
I felt the front of my 1200 needed a change so this is what I did. I have a rabbit front duckbill that came in the mail yesterday just waiting to get put on. I'm still deciding i I want the bumper on or off. Quote Link to comment

Cuts metal like mad
not diggin the vw grill... the stock grill looks more 'right'. Your car though, so make it look the way you like. Quote Link to comment

OpelWagenGT
so on the other side when I got the car there was evidence of rust coming up from behind the bondo on the fender so I had to tear it down to see where is started and I found what is pictured below. I cleaned it all off POR15 was put on then primed and rough painted to protect it temporarily. Quote Link to comment
