While I've never personally run a CX Racing turbo, the guys over at theturboforums.com run them on everything. I believe most of their problems are with wastegates and blowoff valves not regulating the correct pressure.

I've been to Hartwell a few times, its been years though.

Love the Z dude, The wheel, tire flare stretch is perfect.

That Grill is awesome! I've seen the 720 light conversions but not with twisted bar.

I used oven clean over the weekend and it worked for me. I pre heated the over to 200 F then put a wheel in there for about 10-15 min. then popped it out threw the next one in then ran out side and hit it with the oven cleaner. I re applied about 3 times over the course of about 10 min then rinsed and hit it with 320 grit. then back to the over for the next wheel.

Its a Catch 22 though, here in GA we don't have yearly inspections. Which is nice because we can lower and upgrade all day without much hassel from the cops. The problem lies behind bubba jones's trailer where his cousin just got a new flux core 110 welder from the harbor freight and their gonna lift the family silverado. Sketch ass lifted trucks are a dime a dozen down here.

Do you have a link? theres a guy on stanceworks in europe doing this to OEM cast wheels. He uses BBS lips I think. I imagine as long as the center sits flush in the center without any play I would be okay with it. Link to mentioned thread. http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42940
