Getting a title in Washington ,,isn`t as easy as just having them look up the last owner...It will have to go through state patrol inspection. And since the state budget cuts you have to go around and around to get info...The links the state has on the internet are correct but getting the licensing dept. and the state patrol to actually do what it says " on the internet " is another story. Washington state private DOL`s can`t legally tell you the last owners name either.. ......you need .... The letter from the DOL indicating why you need the appointment (or knowledge it is in the DOL computer file)...But state budget cuts have closed that office..

When you put the 5speed in,, the freeway driving difference is night and day..I have a stock 4speed and we installed a dogleg 5 into my brothers last summer and since we trade back and forth when we`re cruzing around, his car on the freeway is so much easier on the driver.....Both cars are L16s BUT...having typed all that i personally hate the dogleg ,,hate the weird pattern, ..I like running the 4speed the only thing I don`t like is being able to open glove box while shifting into 3rd,, on the second or third try at finding it..

Always make sure you have your presentation down on paper , and ALL the spelling and punctuation is correct..Other wise it makes you look like a hayseed nutsack,, make yourself appear as a person that can make good on your promises and not the guy begging for money. ...make a easily read and understood contract, if it looks to lawyer-ee people shy away You want money ...you better be ready for alot of rejection.. We honed out and put new rings in engine a while ago and my son painted block ,,sparkly blue color. Today after letting head soak in diesel and gas ( to keep diesel from gelling) in a giant tub for about a week and a half,, i ground the valves and seats in the A87 peanut head. On the #1 seat we put to big a wheel on and kinda made chamber larger but , rectified the situation by using smaller wheel and finished up.. I was going to make my son do it all but i chickened out ..i have other peanut heads but not as clean as this one. only to fuck up myself,, ...the free spring height came in just under the max with the shims i got off another head ,,,although checking that is a total PITA..if someones got an easier way of holding valve up into head i would like to see it.. Haven`t under cut exhaust seats yet but that`s all that`s left to do Who-Dat gonna grind them seats and some crystal blue persuasion for you gotta clean up grinding grit then finish assembly
