The chirping is also because there are little tubes that come out the other end into the exhaust stream and they are probably just acting like tiny whistles.

If you hook it up to manifold vacuum ,,it will basically work the opposite way in which it was intended It will have alot of advance at idle but none when you give it the gas,,like going up hills and such,, Ron1200,,, PMed you a number

LSD rears are the worst thing in the snow and ice ever..Especially with an auto, because you cant ease into it like a manual. My wifes 88 supra turbo was / is a god damn nightmare, when the snow sticks on der highways.

Not detonation iv`e seen pistons look like that when something gets into engine ,,or ,, a sparkplug electrode breaks off...You should check the valves and valve seats in that cylinder very closely ,,in case whatever caused it went through them..
