  1. Always thought that would work!! Nice!! Are there two terminals on the 240Z? If so, one is a ground, whereas the 510 must simply ground thru the unit!
  2. Cuz if you MUTE her in the video clips, she's not too bad to look at, HOWEVER, imagine having a woman like that in your life!! Ugh 🤣
  3. I don't have for sale, but I'll see if I can see the part # tag on my 1972 dash harness, so you have a better chance of finding the exact one! If you can't find another harness, but you think you can repair yours, I WILL have a couple 1970-1972 510 dash harnesses, that you MIGHT be able to use as a donor harness to repair yours, as they are from the same era, so might be same color codes etc.......?? Check out vintageconnections for new plastic plugs & the correct terminals! They do NOT offer by application, but go on their webpage & you can choose VISUALLY.............you just need your old plugs to compare.
  4. The black Jensen Healey Huffacker is still running in vintage & has given us a battle or two in our Z cars! That 1964 Midget I had, had a Huffacker 1098cc 😎
  5. We had a couple other Spridgets in the group, but Trent was by far the fastest! Flare idea sounds cool! 😎
  6. Hmmmmmmm I bet we need to know if 68-71 column shift or 72-73 floor shift............?? 🙄
  7. Just buy them from Winners Circle!!!! 😁 I crewed for Terry's Jaguar Parts back in the 90's, Trent ran one of the fastest Midget's in the country! I remember one race at Road America, he miss shifted during practice, sheared the flywheel bolts! We yanked the engine, found new bolts, I was bolting down the passenger side engine mount while Trent warmed the car back up, my boss was holding the fiberglass hood behind me, I dive out of the way, hood dropped on, Trent was backing out of the paddock spot while we were stuffing the hood pins in place!! Ahhhhhh the good ol' days of mostly British stuff..............now it's mostly Datsun stuff!! 😎
  8. YES! One of our drivers spun & backed into the wall at Road America a few years ago. The PanelBond held up perfectly & the fiberglass tore off. Yes, all fixed now! 😁
  9. FYI Gerson at kfvintagejdm.com can hand make 620 pans! We have used a number of his hand made pre-production panels & they are quite good! He wants to produce the 620 pans, but when he hand made a set & posted on Facebook, the trolls came out & bitched about the price. The more people that inquire with him, the sooner he will step up & invest in his tooling to stamp them (no longer hand made). If you want a great product (all of his panels are!!), you WILL pay...............(personally, I know the cost of proper patch panels & proper installation costs & think his panels are simply the way to go, to do it right!) 😎
  10. We have been using "PanelBond" to adhere our fiberglass C Production rear flares on our vintage race 240Z's for 6++ years, massive vibration abuse on track & have NOT had any cracking. Also, I remember my body guy using "PanelBond" to bond a metal patch a 1989 Honda Civic rear wheel arch around 15++ years ago & last time I saw that car (2019??) there was no sign of anything popping thru (my buddy keeps it garage kept!). Stuff is brutal! 😎
  11. I strongly suggest this project to everybody!! Pain & time consuming, but if you DRIVE your car, it makes a night & day difference!! 😎
  12. I have ONE NOS unit (forget which side), the NOS lens might have a small crack in it from bangin' around on a shelf for 40++ years. PM me your EMAIL or TEXT, I'll figure out which side & send some pics..................sorry, I do not host & post pics! TJ Denver CO
  13. ...........And you continue to PROVE that you are an idiot..............as usual. In all seriousness Dav, as john510 states, Omicron IS contagious thru the internet, thru your keyboard, so PLEASE choose your time here with great care!! We are all very concerned about you, cuz you are such a good person & so easy to get along with!! Good luck 😉
  14. Thank you for your input jbirds510!! 😎
  15. Such a clever boy. You seem to have an answer or comment for everything (from watching all your silly posts over the last year or so)............. Oh I'm a true believer alright 🙏..........obviously not the same as you. Tell Gov Newsom hello!! 🤥
  16. You of all people LIVE in the main stream media world & tend to believe it. Most here do not agree with you on the mass majority of what you post, me included. I simply do not read ANY of your stuff any more, which is just fine.............🥴
  17. Those are oil bottles...........pre dating oil cans. Some have quite a bit of value, others do not.
  18. Omicron is a politicized joke................once again. It is a standard cold/flu bug. Could it too, have been released one way or another? Who the f**k knows, cuz we are in the midst of an attempted power grab war between the world's gov'ts & we the people of the world. Like mattndew76, my gf & I are both fighting it now.........but it is simply a cold/flu. FYI natural immunity is NOT 100%, nothing is....................but it IS better than this drug concoction they claim to be a "vaccine". All of you that took/continue to take it.............more power to you & I pray that it works for you. I continue to try to be healthy, I continue to take all of my vitamins & supplements & I continue with MY LIFE 😉
  19. Correct, it is a junction block with a slide valve inside.........NOT a proportioning valve. As Mike says, if a bad leak/rupture occurs, the slide valve moves inside & BLOCKS the damaged hydraulic circuit, thus leaving the other half operational, so you can stop the car. When the slide valve moves, it also triggers the red brake light on the dash, to notify you that your brakes will NOT operate as they should! Always thought it was funny, cuz the first time you poke the brake pedal after a rupture, you will know physically that there is a problem..........the light seems redundant!! The British cars did the same thing. You CAN disassemble your old valve. I was able to buy NEW seals at a seal specialist, years ago & rebuild. No, there are no rebuild kits or listings for these seals...........
  20. All 69-73 510 2dr & 4dr Sedan tail lamps are the same. I doubt any other model will fit correctly...........?? I will have good USED OEM 510 lamp harnesses, but most have at least one broken socket. NEW sockets are available from Dorman Products (I will post part #'s soon), but they look slightly different, so installing just one or two NEW sockets, will look slightly different compared to the original OEM sockets. I can sell you a pair of harnesses. If a restored car, you buy & splice in all NEW sockets, so they are all uniform/same...........only a purist would notice difference! If just a driver, replace what is needed & run 'em! PM if interested! TJ
  21. If it does not quite fit, a good upholstery shop might be able to cut it down (if bigger than 510) & restitch the material. I grabbed a 97-98 Prelude back seat to match the front seats I did install in a 510, but I never got around to doing the back seat.............
  22. yenpit

    Y down pipe

Mike is correct...........just compared the 510 GASKET #20691-A0880 to a 240Z manifold...........NOT the same! The Z gasket is bigger with a slightly different bolt pattern. Compare those NEW flanges to the 510 headpipe I sent ya!
  23. If you buy replacement coilover SPRINGS in a stiffer rate, you will need to measure the overall UNcompressed length of one of your originals, so you get the same length. You might be able to measure without disassembling.........jack up the front, if the coilover spring is loose at that point, just measure it! If it is still tight, you need to loosen the adjuster OR pull one off. OR simply go buy a NEW complete set of whatever you find available.
  24. Wow, cool! I think I have a REAL BRE seat, from a buddy that Pro Rally raced a 510 in the 70's-early 80's (RIP Eric Jones) 😎
