  1. Where did you find new rack? Power or non? Your frame is actually fairly rust free, nice.
  2. Thanks Its been done, not sure how yet,but I am trying to figure it out. I am not in such a hurry though since the drivers in phoenix suck balls, lol.
  3. Heres the technical-ish stuff You gotta pull all this stuff off to do it easy. Cut back the bumper and redrill the holes Cut back and shap the honeycomb BS then you just kind of push your bumper into place.
  4. This is how the bumper is stock This is how it is now, after pulling it back almost 2 inches.
  5. Your best bet is to cut and weld, as in cut the shock tube off the old shock and weld on the coilover to the lower part. The other option is converting the entire front end to 240sx, control arms, TC rods, knuckle, brakes, ect ect. I would go for the second option in an effort to make things plug and play with off the shelf components.
  6. Spectrum takes a while to get back to people. They also cost arms +legs.
  7. Thats just the definition of someone that needs to get their priorities straight. Fix your damn fuel lines, now, not in a month.
  8. Holy fuck Smoke, you have over 640 posts in less than a month and a half, at this rate you will have more than Datzenmike, or at very least, Tristan, lol.
  9. so, yeah, the general consensus is that it needs a lot of changes to look right. I dont normally tell people to use the search engine, but when I do, its something like this, lol.
  10. On the subject of mount materials, I have a differential mount in the rear (280zx style), and the bushing is bad, has anyone ever tried the Window Weld method? I am considering trying it, its only about $28 for a tube, and it seems to have a lot of people saying it works well and holds up. Otherwise I am gonna have to have a poly bushing custom fit into it, since nobody makes the mount anymore.
  11. I was assuming that was wheel. that is more than stock at 6lb.
  12. With fender mirrors I might mess with them more, but in the normal location I havent touched my mirrors for like 6 months at least. Once I get them in a spot I like I usually dont mess with them.
  13. I would kill to have those power fender mirrors for my 910. Screw that adjusting regular fender mirrors BS, lol.
  14. Have you dynoed it? 206 is great power. Nice car man, welcome to Ratsun.
  15. shortening ugly 80's bumpers...

  16. I got into cars for tuning, grease. grime, noise, combustion, mechanical parts, ease of maintenance, no risk of electrocution and the ability to work on it yourself. And so on and so on. That is all going out the window thanks to people like Elon Musk and Tesla. The car is becoming the next big disposable item with a short product lifespan and high energy to manufacture. Like the cell phone Its appalling.
  17. You are going to hold steadfast to that bias and I will hold to mine. I think its horseshit. Fuck tesla and Musk both.
  18. I keep hearing you mentioning that lately. WTF did you do anyway?
  19. I hate electric, its just the vehicle in its final stage of evolution, like the cell phone, now we can throw them away and move on when they get old. That and electric as a whole, all things considered is much more pollutive in its current state. And will stay that way unless Fusion power becomes viable in our lifetime. I mainly hate it because it is only us moving pollution from one place to another, it isnt a long term solution to energy demands, nobody wants to find that.
  20. Okay so the issue is a slightly deformed contactor in the column switch, upon further investigation, I was not getting propper +12VDC from the switch, it just seemed like it was at the time I tested it because the contactor was in a better position. I should have them correct later today.
  21. by "power" I mean battery 12v+. I am saying that at the R/Y, it is barely even lighting up the small test light. But I am showing 12v, I will do a drop test when I go back out to work on it. I was mistaken earlier in saying that is has "ultra low" beams or "day lights", It just has dual beams, they stay at the same illumination when you activate the center beams. I was mistaking that the outer beams were supposed to dim when the high beams were lit. Mine are doing this as an effect of the absence of enough power, resulting in extremely dim low beam and no high beam on the same circuit.
