  1. These are not strange machines, its an HMC, Horizontal machining center. HAAS makes a bunch of them. And it it is very highly rigid,This is not a Kia  (mill not car) , it makes wheels, and motorcycle tripple trees. Think of it like a standard style mill with an indexing chuck, except the x axis is vertical. The other we have doesnt have a pallet changer and it rotates 4 parts doing a different operation of two parts on each side on a tombstone. each time its done two parts are finished, you move two to the next side of the tombstone and load two sides of the tombstone with fresh stock. It takes about 2 hours to finish a set of tripple trees. And on HAAS its an A axis, not B like on some machines.
  2. Its just an old HAAS HS-1RP, it does beautiful work though. It was setup to do tripple trees rotating them on 4 stations per pallet. and it has two pallets. So you could switch the workpieces while it was working on pallet two. But now its on wheel duty.
  3. holy shit call another shop that seems steep
  4. Well if you want to get technical, I was following the one drop rule of rice.
  5. Busy ass day at work, I hate being behind production. Going in for side number two.
  6. Do you not have any play in your rear end? My car sounds like an S30 with a bad mustache bar when I shift. I am fairly sure the subframe and diff bushings. I am working on a solution for it since the stuff is basically 30 years old and probably not in amazing condition on anyone's car.
  7. LMFAO, is that a real question? Be time period specific, lol, by decade, then I could answer you, otherwise its not an actual question/statement.
  8. That car is %100 definitely rice.
  9. Verry nice, I like!. Looks like mine, except brown, lol.
  10. Yes. If you get on the Nissan Diesel forums and do some research, there may be another way to get enough fuel, maybe even another pump you could use from a junkyard. Either way, badass car! Wagons are rare, and no sunroof that I can see!
  11. What is worse, is that that Marlboro F1 car was driven by Aryton Senna. its a "MP4/6" (not) Though just the drivers cockpit is real. Underneath, the rest of it is plywood, so not a huge loss.
  12. That is fucking badass, I have never seen a pantera hatch on a Celica-Supra (or 2800GT)
  13. So maybe what I need to do is swap in a 280zx subframe..... It even has an R200 already........
  14. Right. Its CV (Tripod) joint. I am thinking possibly moving around some stuff, I need a second subframe so I can mod it while its off the car. I dont even want anything crazy, just a good 1.5-2 degrees for better handling. Ofcourse If I had the moneys, S13 subframe swap B)
  15. Troof "maybe -1 out back with a little bit of toe in at least to the eye" When I spoke with him on the phone he said that he guessed closer to .5, and he also said with it slammed farther..... Okay perhaps when I said "NOOOOO CAMBER" I was slightly exaggerating, however, you end up somewhere around or below 1 degree, which is substantially less than all the cars shown here. And yes, they do start out at stock ride height with positive camber.
  16. Oh..... Well, okay then LMFAO, I mean seriously though, I am considering buying another subframe for modifications to get camber and someone is gonna tell me "oh just lower it it will camber" I am literally on rolling on the floor with laughter at that. I mean seriously, look at Freezys car, there is NOOOOOOOOOOOOO rear camber, and if you push the control arm all the way up in the tire well, you get NOOOOOOOO camber either, LULZ.
  17. I see camber that doesnt happen on mine or the other 2 lowered ones in the valley.  I also see that those cars are in Japan or another country where R30 rear ends are more commonplace.............. So you actually might be proving my point about the subframes from an R30..... Simply look at Mister_freezy's car. (bottom of page, tan) http://community.ratsun.net/topic/55587-1984-datsun-maxima-910-project/page-13 And I just called him about this. What are you gonna do? Argue with two ppl that own the car?
  18. Very nice car! Glad you found one. Don't turbo it, unless you can find an LD28T fuel pump. The turbo diesel model has a different fuel pump (or pump internals) to give it more fuel
  19. Yeah I have one, and no it doesnt. Lowered two of them, no they do not. I Never worked on lowering a 280zx but I can tell you for a fact that 910s do not camber one single bit when you lower them. And none of these cars have the same part number for the subframe, mounts, or the rear trailing arms. So, no, even by the book/numbers they do not have EXACTLY the same parts..
  20. Right, obviously. But obviously the trailing arm setup on the M30 gets camber when lowered, unlike a 910 or 280ZX, are you following me?
  21. Interesting, 280ZX and 910/810 dont get any camber when you lower them. The rear trailing arm setup might bolt in and give us camber, I wonder if anyone has tried this.....
  22. Thats awesome stuff man. I knew it wouldnt be as easy as just throwing it in, but I have a lead on an R200 with axles for $200, thats only a dollar per millimeter!!. I think I could get the mount modded for less than $100.
  23. No, it does not. Not stock at least, unless he modified it. It runs the same style as 510 sedan, 280zx, 810, and 910. So, How did he get the camber..... Adjustable inner mount? http://parts.infinitiusa.com/nissanparts/index.cfm?bodyColor=&trimColor=&BODY=FEDC&ENGINE=VG30E&GRADE=BASE&TRANS=AT&action=replacement&groupid=G+&sectionid=&partcode=&jointvehid=8139&makeid=14&siteid=15&illust_seq=01&partnumber=Part+Number&description=Keyword
