  1. look under you dash, its not connected to the side vents, the 620's only blow hot air out of the defrost vents and the floor, not the side vents they are fresh air only
  2. please split with the manifold for carlos, this is ratsun we are supposed to help each other out, i feel carlos pain, he wants to run dual carbs but nobody on here will give a little, you can sell the carbs separate and probably make more money that way anyways, i have seen carbs sold on here seperate numerous times!!!!!!!!
  3. its a sin to post up a truck like that and say the cam sounds good AND NOT POST A VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, AFTER ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK I VOTE VIDEO OR FAIL!!!!!!!!! (wicked awesome truck by the way!!!)
  4. hey guys i found this vid of some 510's racing, they all haul ass some of them crash, some crash and haul more ass, i thought it was cool
  5. i work at a parts store and alot of people buy a water pump and a tube of rtv, i always tell them, sir, the water pump comes with the gasket, and then they actually use their head and dont buy the rtv, my managers get mad because i lose the sale but damn some people are just ignorant
  6. i love big pics, mine dont go off the page, but hey are extremely large and clear in quality, i hate those shitty pics that people upload form their cells phones, maybe you should try upgrading your computer, you can get a decent computer these days for under 500 bucks that will load anything as fast as you want
  7. that just makes me sick!!!! holy shit dude you guys had angels all around you!!!, what i wanna know is what happened to the driver of the fucking jeep!!!1 that sonofabitch needs to pay!!!!! did he even stop to see if you were alive??? or did he keep on driving?

    flush old oil?

seafoam will work fine but, it is about 7 or 8 bucks a can and is nothing more than a powerful solvent, kerosene or work good so will diesel fuel, they make actual motor flushes that you can get at the parts store, be careful though, i wouldnt run the engine more than 5 minutes only at IDLE, kerosene doesnt have the lubrication properties that motor oil does, have fun and good luck!
  9. I NEED A SET OF VELOCTY STACKS/TRUMPETS FOR A SET OF 44MM MIKUNIS, FREFERABLY THE LONG TYPE, OR A LINK TO WHERE I CAN BUY A SET
  10. how about the little plastic pieces on the headliner that the sunvisor clips into
  11. good job on rebuilding, im glad you werent scared of it, mayeb we can help you get it going, i know when i rebuilt mine it was a headache tuning it afterwards (i ahdnt ever tuned a carb before) the mix screw on mine is so sensitive if i turn it out a half of a turn it will backfire and when i got to take off it wont have any power, plugs wires and cap and rotor and maybe points is a good thing to do when you rebuilda carb, try the plugs first, it sounds to me like you just need to adjust all of your idle circuit
  12. well what did the 78 and up use ? just curious, i wouldnt smash the hoses over that looks like xxxxx rigged shit, that is the epitome of laziness! not to mention that isnt any guarantee that the exhaust will seal

tabco body parts for the rockers
  14. do you have any velocity stacks for them? i need a set for my 44's
  15. hey welcome man!!!! we need publicity!!!!
  16. true the egr is there for a reason but honeslty who wants 50 punds of worthless shit hanging in their engine bay making it look all fugly, not to mention its so much easier to work on with all that crap off
  17. ah i live in kentucky we arent ever getting smog tests, all of us drive old smoky cars and trucks, and if we did i would tell em to kiss my big white ass, honestly if we had smog it would cause an uprising, egr blows, rip it off, fuck the epa, the polar icecaps have melted before, one little old datsun isnt gonna make that big of a difference
  18. not a whole new exhaust just a new flange welded on, that is iff you use a non smog manifold, i bought a flange on here, i got ripped off but other people have them and they are cheaper, just post up a parts wanted add, some one will reply soon
  19. i hope you didnt throw all of the jets into one bag, they are different size orfices even though they may look the same, the secondary and primary jets are different, i have found it easier to draw the jet block on a piece of white paper then lay the jets out exactly where they go so when it comes time to reassamble you just put them back in the same hole that you drew it coming out of
  20. USE THE CARB DIP!!!!!! LET THE JET BLOCK SOAK !!!!!!! LET ALL 3 PIECES OF CARB SOAK!!!!!!! i can stress this enough, the carb dip is designed to chemically dissolve varnish left by gasoline, spray carb cleaner alone is not enough!!! the carb spray will work great to loosen the dirt and grime but to actually clean the varnishes from the passages you need to use the dip, let it soak and take your time, i actually soaked mine then scrubbed it with soapy water then pressure washed it to rinse it, you could also try the soda blasting method after the dip to ensure cleanliness!!!
  21. on the last picture there you can see the block off plat ethat i used to get rid of the emissions return lines, the plate allows me to still use the positive crankcase ventilation valve to vent ,my block like it is supposed to be here is a picture of the leak that i was talking about, it seems as though when i removed my carb to rebuild it it loosened the intake/exhaust gasket, i found that it only had liuke half the bolts in it anyways, so i replaced the gasket with the bolts and all was good, removing the emissions crap didnt take but a few hours (i already had the block off plates and only unbolted and then re attached all of my parts) after i removed the emission junk it is so much easier to get under the hood and work, looks clean and i dont have to worry about vacumm leaks!!!!! hope this all helps, if you have any questions let me know
  22. wheni rebuilt my carb the first time i put it back on the truck and it wouldnt idle below 4000 rpm, i foud a small leak on the intake /exhaust manifold gasket that was leaking fuel!!!!! when that happened i decided to change the gasket and remove the smog crap since i had the manifold off anyways, i swapped from a heat riser intake/exhaust to the older non riser manifold, the manifold you are running should go from 4 exhaust into 2 into 1 , the non smog mani goes from 4 to 2 then after the exhaust flange it goes to one straight pipe like this in one of the pics it shows the heat riser intake next to the non heat riser intake that is to be used in conjunction with the non heat riser exhaust manifold also pictured
