  1. Thanks Dawa, that should be what I need. Now I'll make a mock 13x17.6x3 cardboard box and see how it fits :)
  2. I would like to get the measurements of the radiator that should have come with my truck. The 74 radiator is not the same size as the L20B equipped 620s. The goal is to find a three core aluminum radiator that will fit, or have a custom radiator made that will fit. I am building a LZ22 for a supercharged application, so I need something that will be able to cool it. If anyone knows of a radiator that will fit and has been used on a boosted 620 application, let me know.
  3. Very nice c-cab. I've been looking at a few bucket "kits" but I'm sure they are way outside of my current abilities. I'll probably stick to building Datsuns and computers till I hit the lottery :) Good luck on selling the 68. Hope it finds a good home.
  4. Wow, those flares and lip make the 3" drop look much better than mine. Is your front sitting on the stops or have the stops been removed? Mine is cranked all the way down but I didn't remove the stops so they are squished holding it about 1.5" higher than without the stops.
  5. Nice truck. I suggest 3" with 720 4x4 springs. I put 3" on my 620 and it isn't enough. Really disappointed with it. Here is a pic: The 720 springs get you 1-1.5" lower. Much better than 4" blocks imo. However, you may need to roll your rear fender.
  6. Yea, I saw MMs truck a while back. Went to buy some tires from him and he just left them sitting in the bed so I got to look over it *memories* LOL! Are you going to make any changes to the flares? Looks like you are getting some contact with the tire, but it may not be that bad.
  7. Love your truck. You and Radim have a pretty unique style that looks amazing. I hope my wheels are that wide when I grow up...
  8. Haha, two rare A/C options on a 210/B210 in Macon. We are in an elite group I'm told :P I don't have a pic that includes my radiator, but that does look quite a bit smaller. If I remember correctly, my radiator sits a lot closer to this hose on the left in this pic: But ends about where yours ends on the right. I'll take a look to be sure once I get home.
  9. Thats pretty darn clean man. Really like the 70-80s import trucks. I would put the camper back on and put a sign-a-rama on the driver's side. Wasn't sure about the hood, but it looks great with the camper and logo.
  10. Dancing is an art... Fuck "dancing", lets disco! :fu:
  11. That doesn't sound too bad then. Looks like you will also have to re do the tranny tunnel, but that is pretty standard for swaps into the smaller datsuns. Are you planning on laying frame or just bagging from the lowest static point? Another thing to check would be possible clearance. I may be over exaggerating how small the 320 is, but with bags (if laying frame) it seems like the engine may have either ground or hood clearance issues. This could be solved with dry sump or possibly a pan like the greddy one most likely. Just something else to look in to :)
  12. Nice 320. How much cuttin will need to be done for the SR? I thought it was difficult to fit anything other than the J series in these. Good luck though, will be damn quick once you are finished with it.
  13. Ratwagon, It hasn't been delivered yet. Either that or they dropped it in the box and no one checked it today.
  14. Thanks for sharing those ratwagon. Might need to print off the second one to post by my computer at work...
  15. Haha, well I didn't pay for jets or tuning, and now I have a very rich l18 that has started burning oil  Oh well. Did the idle circuit and now I'll drive it till it breaks or till my LZ is finished.
  16. Haha, nice introduction and story. You are about to get blasted by the "pics or ban" crew, but really we just want to see what you are working with :P Welcome to ratsun and good luck with your build.
  17. Electric or manual choke is up to you. I like the electric choke because I haven't had any issues with it, but some people prefer the manual. The choke helps during cold starts, so either way you will need a choke and way to control it (electric, water, or manual cable)
  18. Redline and weber carbs direct sell the real webers currently (may be others, but I don't know of any) Weber carbs direct is cheaper, but they don't pre-jet even for specific kits, so you have to rejet and pay for tuning (found this out the hard way) Redline is pretty good with their jetting so long as you buy the kit for your vehicle. If you buy a weber and an adapter seperate, you get the generic jets so you have to pay for rejetting and tuning. My opinion, buy from redline at their website, not ebay. This way you know you are dealing with the company and not someone selling ripe offs.
  19. You should consolidate your write ups onto a disc and sell it on ebay. Like those "how to rebuild you ____ engine." Might be a decent money maker, and you would just need to use the material you are already working with anyway.
  20. 600hp? DTP you got a winner! These old school aftermarket parts are really neat. If you find an old school supercharger I call dibs! :P
  21. Looking at cam options for the new head. I want the Colt 445i-9e that I saw mentioned somewhere else, but they don't show it online and won't answer my calls or email...

  22. Kirden

Nice transformation. That wheel combo looks great with the white walls.
