L-28 manifolds are different from the L-24E

I've got a L-24 exhaust manifold for sale

Great.......now i need the compressor bracket(not the tensioner mount) & the hose inlet.Anybody?

If anyone can put up some oics of the compressor bracket from a factory A.C. truck-i'd appreciate it.

Correct.If the manifold is warped,the new gasket will seal the issue for a few thousand miles and then you'll be back to where you are now.Take it apart,check twice and be sure.Doing things twice for something like a warped surface isn't fun.

THe museum is wrong. Put a straight edge across the manifold flange to make sure you won't be doing this again a couple months down the road.

Datsun NEVER DE-STROKED any motor.The L-24E is just a L-24 with FI.The only difference being rod journal size increase in later versions.

No.They just unbolt.The mounts are already there.BE ADVISED that one of the bolts that holds the pedals is REVERSE thread.

The shaft should swap over.You're gonna have to swap pedals and pull the clutch cylinder & line.And all related shifter crap.

The plate should read:"UNabled".

They should swap.I'm getting ready to do the same swap.THe auto is the same as the Z-car box.

THere are four ECU per year.Auto/Fed,Auto/Ca.,Stick/Fed,Stick Ca.

Story time:When i got my Cobra on the road it was registered & tagged in Georgia.I transferred it to Kalifornia.Then i move to Az.TWO YEARS after moving to and registering my car in Az.,i get a letter from the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia's DMV gestapo AT MY TUCSON ADDRESS SUSPENDING my Kalifornia registration because they(Kalifornia) didn't like the way Georgia DMV did it's paperwork SEVEN YEARS PRIOR!!!!!

No need for proof.Logic(and physics) dictates that a stationary liquid above a heat source will be hotter than a liquid that is re-circulating thru a cool containor of liquid.

Sorry,but Aluminum is 30% better at heat extraction/rejection.

I just scrapped it's twin a year ago.

Fuel can never be too cold.
