If you live in a warm climate it is not needed.It was put there for cold start driveability and emissions.IF you do live in a "cooler weather place" and you are a little on the lean side,warm-up will a PITA with-out it.

1)You're right.Shelby is a lying thieving P.O.S.And the upper end Shelby replicas are faster,better built and handle better than the originals. 2)Both are gone. And qwik510's car would blow ANY Scarab into the weeds.
