    Datsun 620 Shirt

    If it's going to be a cartoon,then a caricature of Steroid with a grinder "de-hooking" a 620 would be a hoot.
  3. Get the part number, call Arias and ask how much they can be safely milled.
  4. 83 Maxima, complete right down to the factory wheels.I's been popped in the nose slightly.THis car won't be there long-it's going to the crusher sooner than later. As of today,it's complete. Call Beep-Beep at 520-574-1234 ask for Jim.Tell him Bill sent you.
  5. X2If you aren't tracking the vehicle, disc up-grades are just a "feel good"(pun intended)idea.Drums are actually more efficient than disc...intill they get hot.
  6. Need application(year) & prices.I see some parts that don't exist.I'm looking for 810 stuff.No year/model seperation.
  7. I have a use for the over-size gaskets that originally were shipped.Loop one end around the perps neck and tie the other to a tall Oak tree limb. And then do a Coyotte/Roadrunner act on their ass.

Well?WTF ya waitin' fer?No such thing as too much info unless you're talking about Rosie O'Donnell.

I don't have to say this is not a realistic way of going about this.BUT.......having said this,it should show some differences(especially between 1 & 4)and some conclusions can be drawn. And maybe, that conclusion will be that more testing or research needs to be done-who knows?

Turn it around.Seal the meter to the TB"flange"and then seal the hose to each port while the others are taped shut.At least that way you'll be "sucking the right way" Of course this isn't going to simulate the real deal, but it MIGHT give you some info to make a reasonable guess with.

It was a 413.I forgot how big it is now.Nifty-friggin'-neato car.

Did you block off the other ports while you were testing one?
  15. Last week I ate at 5 guys for the second time to see if the first time was a fluke.Nope.No need to eat there again.
  16. Swapping an FI system makes it fail visual here in Az.

Been mulling this all morning.THe stacks would be a good start to minimize the "ram air" effect on the first runner.
  18. Your math is wrong, your gearset is 4.37 to 1.The stock motor doesn't have enough HP for a 3.89 gear.

Million dollar question. With the angle, the air going into #1 is going to have a short straight run..Not good for "things being equal"department.THe stacks would help, but i can't say if they are the answer.I'm going to be talking to some "in the know" folks soon.I'll put it past them and see what they say.If i were you,i'd start asking some posers to some people that build manifolds for a living.Better to ask questions now. To be sure of things, you'd want to put the manifold on a flow bench. And i know that's not what you wanted to hear. :(

    L20B

Any header on a 620 will COST you HP.

You want the flow to all the cylinders to be equal. If there is a straight "run" to one cylinder and not others, that cylinder will run lean as it will get more air flow.Is the TPS going to be mounted perpendicular to the head-flange or on a slight angle, pointing towards corner where the fender & radiator support meet? And the diameter is the same as a L-20B maifold runner-but you knew that...right?

    Jon's a good guy....when he's asleep. <_<

Diameter of the tubes, i meant. One other thing, you don't want a "straight shot"into #1 runner from the throttle bore.
