Its only a single member starting issues... its the same guy repeatedly. Thats the only reason he was forcibly removed in the first place. Tons of threads run their course. Look how long all those classifieds threads stayed alive in the beginning. Most threads just end up turning into more boob threads. It wasnt within the rules. He was a permanently banned member coming back and posting. And on top of that, no matter how good his intentions were, he continued to bring up a topic for which he was banned in the first place. That doesnt sound like a smart move. If the Classys were never mentioned in the first auction, no one would have thought twice about it and all would have been for the greater good of the auction.

Yep, first Datsun swap. Ive done plenty of 4G63 swaps out of DSMs/Evos, but first L-series. There are mos def a couple tricks specific to it to make sure everything goes in smooth. Next time will be way easier... plus the real problem we had was over part incompatibility. Manifolds need to be installed, trans cooler installed, everything wired up, and fluids. Nothing crazy... should all be downhill. Headed down tomorrow to knock it all out.

The semi-colon is the ratio. 37:9 is 37 to 9 which reduces (by dividing the number preceding the semi-colon by the number following the semi-colon) to 4.11:1. So the other ratio you have is 39:11 or 39 to 11 or 39 divide by 11 or 3.54:1. When there isnt a stamp, you can count the teeth on each gear (which are the numbers listed in the ratio). One gear has 37 teeth where the other gear has 9 teeth.

I cant remember what pan is on there... I vaguely remember Jenn telling me I would need to use my own 510 pan when I swapped it in, but I cant be certain. I would PM her and ask... see if she can recall. Do you know how different the 521 pan is compared to the 620 pan? I have a 521 pan and pickup from the motor Izzo sold me.

Doesnt sound like there is a problem if the light works after you wired it in. You would just use whatever screws you need to get it securely installed.

If that's really why banned members are trying to come back then that should be the real priority. Hell I'll start the auction and facilitate it. I liked Cam and talked to him on multiple occasions.

Why not? Where does it say that a Japanese styling trend excludes certain models? That Civic wagon looks clean as shit to me. Excluding that enormous tach, Id drive the hell out of it. Boso is a way of thinking displayed in your modification choices... it has no limits on cars it can be on. If it was something non-Japanese I could understand your sentiment. A clean, well built car is still just that... no matter what badge it rocks.
