  1. Oh Jesus! Horde is right... thats a crap-ton of parts. If there are any good side draft cards or any dual card manifolds I would be interested.
  2. Ill be going. The car should make it out there... then I should be rolling up to NissanFest if anyone will be going. Doug, is everyone meeting up at your place to carpool?
  3. Always love this car Anth... glad to see it in print.
  4. No worries brother. I will give you that Pana's are ok-ish, but I do not like RBs at all. I mentioned it in another thread, but I do not like Rotas at all. Ive seen a few threads pop up on how shoddy their craftsmanship is as well as the fact that they just copy all of their wheel designs. I dont like fake wheels personally. I wont fault anyone else really for getting them if thats what they like though. Dog dishes are nice, but Im going with the bullseyes. If I could find a set of GL hubcaps I would rock those, but I cant find those anywhere.
  5. The weather isnt horrible, but even that little rain ruins my painting efforts. I live in an apartment where the only space to do projects is a 4ft by 5ft patio open to the elements. Since I started working in a shop, if it doesnt dry out the next couple of days, then Im taking them to the shop to clean and paint them. Ive test fit the hubcaps on them and they stay perfectly. There is a small lip on them just like stock steelies (maybe the larger ones dont?) that the teeth around the cap can bite into.
  6. Hahahaha Since you said you read my thread you should have noticed the reason I bought "NASCAR" rims... so that I could put stock hubcaps on them. Im not trying to imitate the tan car. I bought 13's not the 16's he has and once I put hubcaps back on them, you wont even be able to see them. Im just waiting for the shitty weather to end here in Washington so I can paint outside.
  7. Like I said, I dont have mint quarters...
  8. To each their own I guess. I have no issues with rolling fenders... Hell in the future I might flare it whenever I want to put for the effort since its a 4dr. The fenders arent perfect so I wont be ruining much. Theres some dents and creases in them that Im not sure if I can get out. You just cant see them in the pictures Ive taken.
  9. I dont have to pull it out much. And I dont mind a little bit of massage work. I know a few people tucking the size Im going for so Im not worried at all. Your wagon looks great with the work you put into the fenders. Gross. I would never buy either of those types of rims. Rolling and pulling is a very small price to pay for a set of rims you like. Its not like Im using 2" spacers and cutting up the car for flares, just so I can use a set of rims I have. My rims sizes arent ridiculous so I shall be fine. Seriously.
  10. Ive thought about picking one up as a beater for the winter, but they are way over priced in this area. After seeing that picture, I would way lift it and demolish anything I could find. Im from Venice Beach, California and I would be so redneck for that. If you end up not wanting it for $150 I will drive down and buy it.
  11. Ive never seen a lifted one, but I would rock it. That looks like a Halo Warthog... For $150 its a good deal and I would pick it up.
  12. Oh wow, thats a sore sight to see. Hope you can get some of it back with insurance... though I know the memories of building it cant be bought back.
  13. Were there any wheels that were worth the trip? Maybe I can hit it up during the summer and then I can go to the Enchanted Forest while Im down there. Bumper boats!
  14. Unfortunately, its a five hour drive for me so I might actually have to see some family to justify the long trip.
  15. Even the "3-Piece" MKIII/II are only really two pieces when the customer gets them. If you hover over the 3-Piece logo on the wheel it will explain how it works. Lip and barrel are welded together and then the center piece is bolted together forming the full wheel.
  16. I have family in Albany. Hmmm maybe I can drive down to visit the shop my family.
  17. You can get longer studs from FutoFab.
  18. Ive seen a couple people take payments before and it always worked out for them. Im not saying thats the case, because we all theres some jack-holes out there that will screw with you. Two different friends each did it a different way. One kept the title and with a large down-payment, was able to drive the car away. The new owner got the title once it was paid off. The second friend had the ability to still store the car, so with a down-payment he kept it for the new owner and gave it to him once it was fully paid off. Payments could always work, but you have to make sure you can trust the person youre doing that with... and with todays people it keeps getting harder and harder.
