  1. Is CityHunter a member here? I know he's on JNC though... I PMd him a couple months ago to see if I could buy a few feet of his container to ship something back, but never heard back :(
  2. Just emailed the owner of those 521s. I'll report back.
  3. He knows what he's doing. He posted in another thread that he went back all 90 pages and was posting in the ones that didn't say SOLD in them.
  4. Thanks, but no thanks. I'm happy with my Coupe grille. Now if you have a link to a '69 Coupe grille... Then we can talk haha.
  5. Its not like you will be there... you will be too busy with your swap
  6. So, Im looking to restore/refinish my dash. I received a second dash to help with this process so Im hoping to group all the work and info here in this thread. Here is where Im starting with: Its a complete frame, cluster, wiring harness, and all fascia pads. Here is what Im thinking for it... Im going to pull all the fascia pads off and have the frame sand blasted. From there either painted or powdercoated to combat the surface rust. I picked up a crack free pad for it and snagged some NOS vents as well. At one point Im going to be relocating my fusebox to inside the cab and will probably pull out the dash harness in this one and clean it up and organize it for that. Lastly Ill be pulling this cluster and retrofitting it with LEDs so that I can actually see the panel when Im driving at night. I do still have a few questions: 1. If I pull all the pads off the sand/paint/powder, what is everyone experience with gluing the fascia pads back on? 2. Ive heard some horror stories about some brands of dash cleaner. What is everyone preffered brand to get rid of all the dirt and grime without eating into the plastics of the dash?

    1200's unite!!!

Loving that sedan with GTR wing.
  8. I contacted Jun so we shall see what he says.
  9. Those look a billion times better than the shit I posted. I still stand by my statement that the ones I linked to are fake. I guess we could always contact Jun to find out for sure.
  10. PMd. Continuing with the dash refresh I just bought new metal dash vents. No more green corroded vents! And I just picked up a new dash pad... figured I might as well pull the trigger and get this all done right.
  11. It might help if you post photos and put a little effort into the ad. At a bare minimun, just copy and paste the ad into here. Im sorry you have to give it up... hopefully your situation changes. GLWS.
  12. Is this the wiring diagram Paolo? We were just talking about him yesterday... Good luck with the search.
  13. Yes, the Non-Datsun for sale thread lol. Just list it as trade only.
  14. I dont know what Im going to use yet... My GF used some stuff in her car and it came out really nice, but unsure what it is at the moment. This will need a deep cleaning so Ill be doing some research. This new dash has a vinyl recover thats glued down to the frame. When I pulled it out I was estatic because it had a perfect dash, but then I touched it and saw what it actually was. I got linked to a dash replacement that aparently is top-notch. Its not a POS quality eBay item. The only problem is the company makes '68 pads and '70 pads only... what that means for us is that we have to buy a '68 cap and live with the indent above the radio. Im going to get one based on the recomendation and see how it turns out. It has to be better than this vinyl piece and all the cracks on the current pad in my car.
  15. I just need to clean it up to see if its worth it to Dan. If not, its yours. And yes... the search is half the fun.
  16. Damn... Ive been wanting a 521 lately and this is exactly what I want. Id love to have a green 521 to match my 510. Please let me know if you ever want to get rid of this, Id love to pick it up.
  17. For sure! I have the apartment office trained well it seems. Every time I pick something up, they ask if its for the car. The office manager had a '69 Roadster in high school. She said getting rid of it was a huge mistake. Possibly. I promised a nice glovebox door to another member. If its under the quality of his current door, Ill pass it along. Theres no liner though... I did start refinishing the new JDM grille, but I think I might have to up the effort on it. I might have to break all the studs and have it sand blasted... then powdercoated.
