Same here... Im going to be doing a little traveling tonight for the Reserves so I will be checking some of the places around the hotel I will be staying at. Maybe Silverdale just sucks and doesnt get anything cool.

I think the refinished dash will really turn the interior look around. Then shits not so faded and grimey. Im about to disassemble to new dash tonight and see that Im working with.

510s dont have frames so you really cant just frame swap to a truck frame.

Thanks for the tips! Ive used this in the past on a center console, GL grille, and GL taillights: Its ever so slightly textured, but comes out really nice once its dry for being matte. I really wasnt thinking about painting the plastic pieces, but I guess I might as well if Im going through all the trouble with the rest of it. We shall see after the clean up. Ill have to pick up some small C-clamps to keep all the pieces secured while the epoxy drys.

There was a power steering offered in Japan, though Im sure its only RHD. I believe some people have done rack swaps though... Im not too sure of any on this site, but the Realm would probably have it.

Anyone can ask questions pertaining to dash/plastic refinishing. Luckily this project is independent of driving the car... since I have a whole 2nd dash, I can work on this one and still have the car complete.
