There is a trend in Japan lately where they mimic American hellaflush trends. The grass is always greener I guess and they like to mimic us... Sticker bombs, fixie bikes on racks, etc. There is also one (not sure if its still happening as I havent been over there in awhile) where they mimic the F&F major body kit scene. Its basically mimicking what they think Americans think Japan does. Its some JDM Inception shit. It gets pretty wild. Although, you would think that theres no rice over there, sometimes there is and its on purpose. Japanese are crazy. I also like their Kei car mods which would never fly over here. Theres some great kei builds over there. But if someone here tried to style a SMART Car, Fiat 500, Soul, etc. they can and will be laughed at. Over there its baller as shit.

I got them from a place called superbrightleds.com. For my specific application I bought five green (WLED-G5) and five red (WLED-R5) though the '69 cluster only needs four of each. There is an LED cluster thread with other model applications you can check out.

Unfortunately, this is the only one. I do remember it being a standard thread... I would take your off, head to your neighborhood hardware store and check the thread. Then look for a manual shift knob of your liking and use that. Thats what my plans were before I made one. Yeah, 68/69 dashes are where its at... I was lucky to find a second 69 dash so I could refinish one. I bought the carpet from a member named Shouldabeen. Great kit at a great price. Shoot him a PM and he should be able to help you out :thumbup:

Yeah it's factory threaded. I can shoot you a picture of mine... Maybe they switched to press fit after 69.

Maybe I'll just wait until Canby... Should be plenty of knowledgable guys there to help.

Yeah it looks super simple. Just for my first time I want to make sure I do it right and remember everything properly. Ive been saying Im going to do this forever... so I really should haha.

In the DSM world we used to use S2000 stubby antennas. They were pretty good about being universal and looked good. Like Wayno said, Im not sure if the updated styling of any stubby antenna will look good with the 720 lines.

True story. Like I said, I need to do mine. Ive never done L valves before, though I understand the concept and have seen Mikes video a few times. Maybe Ill get a guru to watch me do it once so that it ensures my valve train doesnt fall apart like Jenga pieces when I try to run it after I adjust the valves. I bet it would help a lot of my running issues as well.

Does it count when you design your own and have one cut?
