d510addict
What kind of room would you be saving by not using a turbo version of the motor? Seems like even a sr20de would be more than enough power to make those little trucks scream. Quote Link to comment

makibaka
Final update. Sold the truck a few years back, but never updated since my last post in this thread. Finished up the wire tuck. Lots of de-pinning, sheathing, heat shrinking and tossing out useless wires/parts. Had Dan do some TIG welding work to drop one of the radiator pipes down: Dan also did some work to help clean up the intake manifold and valve cover so I could run the throttle cable and PCV lines cleaner. Never got around to resending the parts back to the powdercoater to fix the blemishes & holes: I plumbed the intake filter and MAF into the driveside wheel well. Tony made me a splash guard, but I forgot to take pics. Some powdercoated goods: parts installed: Then after the pic I figured out a way to tuck the throttle cable behind the motor. Also, clean-up the wiring under the intake manifold and the re-did the PCV lines. Never got a full engine bay shot with those changes. Quote Link to comment
makibaka
Got some coilovers (same ones as Finelines) installed by Troy. The pics were NOT at ride height. Truck drove great as my daily. Commuted 100 miles+ a day & it never broke down. Last I heard, the guy I sold it to had it painted and finished the interior. Anyway, thats it. Hope this thread was useful for other peoples build-ups. Quote Link to comment
