crew521
the reason it blew apart is the (loading only) drive line got driven on and was not true.....it was supposed to load and unload only!!!! had to park to far from show and could resist getting on it.. it was not balanced/true in the least and it rattled the trans mount bolts loose and blew case apart right then and drive line turned and went round and round like a jump rope... Stoffregen Motorsports
Nice to see you back on it. I think this truck is a good candidate for a two piece driveshaft. The length limit (per tubing diameter) looks to be far exceeded and building a larger diameter shaft won't be easy using the stock Datsun rear u-joint flange and yoke. Also, not to be a hater, but I hope you don't actually drive your kids around in that thing...as cool as it is. 2 Quote Link to comment
crew521
i do plan on putting kids in it and a nice through the floor halo ring with a couple cross bar roll cage in it..and yes like ive been saying forever crossmeber is going in at half way point with a 2 peice shaft being built by driveline shop as we speak 2 Quote Link to comment
