mrbigtanker
Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr So I decided to just buff the old chrome and repaint the center. It came out not bad. Pot metal sometimes is not worth he hassle 2 Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Re painted my engine bay. Came out nice and shiny but I used way to much air pressure so a lot of runs. So disappointed in myself. Now either sand down and respray or cut and buff. 2 Quote Link to comment
Duncan
With this newer, smog-friendly paint, I've found that runs don't sand out like the good old days. Technically, yes they will sand flat, but you can still see where the run was. I've not tried every paint out there, but hopefully you can get yours to work if you go that way. I can't see the runs in your photo, but it looks pretty nice from my house! Edited March 8, 2022 by Duncan 2 Quote Link to comment
