Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm reasonably sure that that plug serves as a free air breather for the box in addition to the fill port plug. Blocking it off entirely will likely cause the seals to leak after the header heat warms up the box and subsequently the oil/air inside. 1 Quote Link to comment
