J-Luis
I have to share something that gave me a chuckle. For a few weeks, I noticed a change in something that has been hanging on a wall for many, many years at the place where I work. I'll admit, the error did bother me, but what could I do about it? The giant mural of photographs appears to have been where it is for years. Well, someone was bothered a bit more than I was and corrected the issue with a Sharpie permanent marker. Problem solved. And I do feel better when I reach the end of that very long corridor and see the change. 1 Quote Link to comment

Cardinal Grammeter
When I was working at P&W in Jupiter, FL, we'd have fighters fly in and usually a day of static display, they they'd fly out - usually a max AB take-off which really stirs me cockells! LOL I'd be the only person of 1-2k people that would stand outside the engineering building to watch that would go out into the end of the parking lot to be right under that jet taking off (the runway was lined up but located in the test area a good ways from the engineering building. (used to have a 727 that shuttled between FL and East Hartford, then they sold it, those days were gone for good.) So this Intruder flies in and this guy really had to show off being he was so low on the food chain. He got chewed out. When he flew out, it was all by the book. I'm wondering if the Intruder has an afterburner???? I'm pretty sure it is subsonic. Don't remember if Navy or Air Force pilot. Usually the Navy jocks are the squirrels. AF guys are all by the book. I mean carrier night landings - you have to be a little crazy to begin with. 2 Quote Link to comment

Cardinal Grammeter
There are many uses for black tape, but I never thought of this one. Don't quite know if this is 100% OT. I'll let ya'all decide (!) 2 Quote Link to comment
