Ranman72
the 350 swap was the best thing someone could have done to that Jaguar aside from an RB or vq or vq45 but dollar for dollar chevy 350 is the way to go Quote Link to comment

Skib
Its a mad sleeper atm.Its running true duel exhaust with a muffler and resonator on each side, super quiet. With the help of Bonvo and Kama (cuz I dont much about SBC) it looks to be a ~70s truck motor, and has an HEI dizzy. It deff needs a good cam and see if I cant find some headers that will fit in there. And a good clean up, someone just rattle caned most of the engine bay black and theres lots of un organized wiring and line routing that needs to be sorted. The guy I got it from didnt have it for more than like a year and the PO before him had all the seats and headliner re done and most of the rest of it is clean, need to fix a few bits here and there, get new carpet, wood dash face could use a sand and stain. fisch
Nicely done Skib! Gotta love the lines of a Jag! (And I am still alive too y'all! And even though I haven't been posting, I have been driving my 510 all summer. Funny that when I am most active here it sits in the garage, and when I get quiet I am out driving it. LOL.) 2 Quote Link to comment

Skib
Im not sure atm, Im just rockin it as a cruiser for now so the turbo350 trans does the job. Iv just been getting old PO wiring cleaned up, removing the unused Jag wiring in the bay, getting all the lights working. only factory gauge left to get working is the temp and I just got the Jag temp sender in yesterday and found the sender wire a few days ago when I was cleaning up the bay harness. Only thing left to sort on lights is the brights but I have a feeling that issue us a relay. Other than that been putting a parts pile together for the 350, it needs a cam. Its an early 80s truck motor and has the cam profile to prove it haha. so replacing a bunch of the stuff thats gotta come off when I do the cam anyway. scored a new gear drive for $60. 1 Quote Link to comment
