HRH
Still, it's kind of like having a 1000 hp motor...in an Aztek. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Link to comment
laotsu
Per Flats recommendation I am considering, as a commuter beater, a '94 manual Sentra coupe with just over 200k on it. Thoughts? Link to comment
flatcat19
Good car. I've seen a few of them with over 300K on the clock. Looks like an XE. Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Just picked up a 91 SE-R during the summer. 180k. I've been very pleased with it. Link to comment
flatcat19
SE-R is a different beast altogether than a regular Sentra. The GAs are good motors though. I'd go for it. Link to comment

tr8er
Worth Ratsun mention: http://youtu.be/Bd1qCi5nSKw 510's legacy. One of the classier commercials this year in my opinion. 2 Link to comment

I expect you will be satisfied. Fucking Nissan and their terrible clear coat. Although, I'd want to have a g to put into it right off the bat. A 200k service. Wheel bearings, diff oil, trans oil, possible radiator flush and fan clutch. Suspension rubber, and thumb tacks for the headliner that I know they avoided pictures of. Stuff that gets ignored. After a new owners sourdough, this should live a long life. I like 'em Link to comment
a.d._510_n_ok
i would make her scream even if it was, "GET THE F*CK AWAY FROM ME, YOU CREEPY OLD BASTARD!", I would make her scream. 3 Link to comment

I like 'em Every maker had a problem with their clear coat/paint in that era. Those cars have held up well with little maintenance if not abused. Easy gamble. Diff oil? Fan clutch? Huh? It's a wrong wheel drive. Link to comment
tr8er
Well, aside from my embarrassment, the message I still mean to make is to put some love into the forgotten components right away. I wish I did more when I bought my truck. Link to comment
q-tip
I had a buddy with a 91 se-r sentra that was great, it liked to kill injectors though, it really just went thru them one by one. It had 240k on the clock had 180psi across the board AND pulled on a friends freshly rebuilt ls powered civic. Link to comment
laotsu
this is a commuter car so I want a fuel efficient GA motor not a fwd SR20. Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Well it sounds like the car you're looking at isn't an SE-R, so that shouldn't be an issue. Link to comment

tr8er
Classy is a video of an absentee father, set to the tune of a song about an absentee father? Nissan fixes relationships? Sometimes the things we love don't compliment one another perfectly, and we split our time and our passions. And sometimes, when we are lucky, our estranged loves find understanding in one another. Real life there. 1 Link to comment
