merlin
It basically is... 3 main h19... The H20 is 5 main... The crank and rods are different... Head is iron. ... Just broke a stupid 1/8th vacuum advance steel tube.. Need to find a 1/8th brass "flare" to fix it.... Or go rubber. I didn't rebuilt it as it ran great, was rebuilt only about 5 k before I bought it... and this car ain't going to see huge miles under its own power... It might be at Canby one year, but in a trailer. 3 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It's the duty of the faithful to pilgrimage to Canby at least once in your lifetime. Preferably the Hajj is attempted in a Nissan, of some kind, so that you are discernible from all non believers. One of the five pillars of Nihon Sangyo is the pilgrimage. The other four are... The ritual middle finger salaam to all other faithful Datsun owners. (while driving) The lowering of the divine vehicle ride height. Sharing of holy parts, help or information with the needy. The observance of performance over economy. 4 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
How about 1/8 copper tube like you run for mechanical oil pressure. Quote Link to comment
merlin
I was able to find a brass flare ... Last one... At my local auto parts store... All fixed. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dime Dave
Merlin, Good to see your still in the Datsun game and more importantly that Bad Granny is still with you. I know you've taken a hiatus from working on her, but the market value of a clean 510 2 door is fast making all you invested in her worthwhile. 2 Quote Link to comment
