datzenmike
A little something my buddy is building Porcupine motor? Quote Link to comment
dirty-mik3
a jdm tuner thought: why do an rb swap when you could do an rb head on a l6 instead? Any more info on this? Looks like an rb20 head, which is pretty damn cheap nowadays! Paired with an l28 block and v07 crank, i'm sure one of these would make some impressive numbers! I'v toyed with the idea of this before in my head, but didn't know it had been done. To my knowledge rb20's/26's have the same bore spacing as L6's and according to "RB26powered74zcar" on hybridz they have the same headbolt layout and spacing only with different sized hardware. With a dry deck setup I can't imagine this being all that difficult... Quote Link to comment
dirty-mik3
neil was kind enough to post a link on the facebook page that looks to be a build log on this specific motor. You can find it here. (or here): http://spark88.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-50.html If you're running google chrome it'll do a very crude job of translating for you.also noticed that he mentioned using an l20 block instead of one of the larger displacement l6's, any idea what differences the l20's have from the l28's aside from the obvious displacement? captaingamez
It is pretty cool but why would you waste the time and money in all honesty? Is the L block stronger than an RB block? No, actually they are tremendously similar. I mean you could more easily make the L block a belt drive and just slap the head on...........by just buying an RB block, lol. Why would someone do this over just dropping in an RB26? Quote Link to comment
Just Joel
No need for a drive train swap? 2 Quote Link to comment

Why would someone do this over just dropping in an RB26? Cost really, I can get a complete rb20 head for about 300-500 bucks. +with a built l28 bottom end it would just be nice to make the two work together rather than dumping 1500 on a stock rb20. so really the main reason is cash. I mean obviously there's machining involved, but from the looks of it, not that much. +the street cred from building an rbl30 would be ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
smoke
Some chrome zip ties would really do that justice. Quote Link to comment

dirty-mik3
Ahh screw it, its a 5 liter twin turbo nitromethane powered 4 cylinder built by norwood racing, rated at 4,000BHP!!!all thrown in an integra styled funny car designed to do 250mph in 5.5 seconds at the quarter mile.I would give it a read. I had the stupidest smile throughout the whole article.http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0202tur_norwoods_racing_funnycar_integra/ 1 Quote Link to comment
