maltese
Yeah, I had a chick come in with her low oil light on. Went to check the level, no dipstick. I added a half a quart, no more light. Gave her the other half quart, and told her to take her POS to the stealership. Good thing her Daddy got the 'free' maintenance package. Fucking hood release, too. Pull the handle inside. Check under the hood, no release lever. Hmmmm? Owner's manual. Pull the handle inside a second.d time, hood opens. BMW. Fuck. 1 Quote Link to comment

84720FourWheel
A guy at school is working on restoring his 86 Audi 4k. It's in a lot rougher shape than that one. I think it's going to end up as an ice racer. 1 Quote Link to comment

84720FourWheel
Apparently, the guy he bought it from has like 4 more that he bought for parts, 6 Volkswagen rabbits, a pair of Datsun roasters, and some other stuff that I'm drawing a blank on. 1 Quote Link to comment

a.d._510_n_ok
In thirty years of messing with cars I've never owned anything German. I've lusted after lots of it but horror stories about special tools and parts prices always scared me off. Being this close to an army base weird stuff like Opels and Borgwards used to be common sights in Farmer Brown's back pasture. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Try owning something brittish... German will feel like a domestic. 4 Quote Link to comment
