GORILLARILLA21`
I just put my front coils on.. Nervous on how high it is.. I lowered it all the way after realizing it looked lifted.. There is no engine in it. It will have a ka24de. Will it go a lot lower? (I wanna have my tire at least to the fender) off the top of my head, the spring is rated at 215. Excuse the mess, I was just excited to get the front on the ground. Well, was until I saw it this high  Quote Link to comment
wayno
Yes it will drop quite a bit with an engine in it. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
So those are the wheels Jrock redid. I saw the Jilbas in his shop. And to answer your question, the front should come down quite a bit after throwing an engine in it. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
First put the engine or its equivalent weight in the front! Then ask if it will go lower. You can't set clearance until you have finished dicking around. Quote Link to comment
GORILLARILLA21`
Yes Jon did a great job on them! I was going to stand on the crossmember until I realized I weigh 160lbs soaking wet  Quote Link to comment

Dattokai
A lot of 510s are getting rare wheels. I love it. Quote Link to comment
jser12
Don't forget, you need to also let your suspension settle quite a bit too. I threw coils into my friends miata and over the coarse of 2 days it sat about another 1.5-2 inches. Quote Link to comment

GORILLARILLA21`
Ill let you know Jon. And I'm confused on my brakes as well.. The guy sent me "280zx" brakes and pads but I had 280zx struts with the brakes and his pads fit mine, but not his. And mine don't bolt up to the struts. There's like a 2 inch gap so I'm not sure what the hell he sent me.. -.- Quote Link to comment
GORILLARILLA21`
Unless there's 2 different generations of the brakes.. But I couldn't find anything on it. Quote Link to comment
jrock4224
no sounds like maybe z brakes but not sure on that .... maybe start a thread inthe brake section or post a ststus upate that links this thread mentioning the brake differences and an a need for help identifying it ...
