troyw
now the question is what would this grille be worth Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Closest picture I could find was a '69 nevermind found it so what is it? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Looks like an early 510 to me. An item is only worth what one ends up paying for it. Never what one paid for it before. Quote Link to comment

laotsu
it'll prolly fit a 520 too. 1 Quote Link to comment
KELMO
Both of those cars are owned by someone on here (well, I think the wagon is the wife's and the 1200 sedan is his), both cars are exceptional. Quote Link to comment
wayno
That is strange, every 411 with a 1600 in it I have ever seen has the "SSS" badge on it like in the 411 wagon photo above, but this one has a "1600" badge, is it a non US grill? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
it'll prolly fit a 520 too. . Maybe, but they have single headlights, bigger diameter and farther apart? A lot of my Datto info stops mid '60s. Same kind of Datsun? Quote Link to comment

No. This is the "standard" RL411 grill [and in prime condition if I may say so], the "SSS" badge was on some, probably most RL411s. Mine is the standard "Mommy" version with the "1600" badge and an automatic transmission. It doesn't have the C panel SSS emblems either. Quote Link to comment

Well there you go, I learned something I did not know today, and if I had not commented, I would not have known. That is one nice looking grill, they are likely not found in that good of condition anymore. Quote Link to comment
millican
What on earth is sticking out of that red car's window? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The equivalent of a 'swamp cooler' but on a car. Quote Link to comment
wayno
What on earth is sticking out of that red car's window? That is a swamp cooler, kind of an air conditioner, if you ever find one, buy it for me, you don't want one of them ugly pieces of shit hanging out of your door windows.   1 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Put a swamp cooler in your front right door window and crack the left rear window and as long as go more than 25 MPH it's pure cool. Just remember to fill the tank with preferably deionized water and pull the string that rotates the fiber interior cylinder. Wish I hadn't tossed mine 30 years ago! Quote Link to comment
Will
Same kind of Datsun? I'm pretty sure that this is a Sunny B10 -the one that came before the 1200. They were imported to Canada, but not the USA. ...lucky you! Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
so then, will the 411 grill fit on the 67' 4 headlight 520? Quote Link to comment
