Dat-girl
I finally have all the body work completed on my girl. This being said I have a few questions... Has anyone found a set of 18's that will fit on the lowered Datsun? I was thinking maybe some caddy wheels but have not ran across any at the moment. I also have the tailgate latches, a couple hood emblems, taillights, side marker lights, and turn signals that were all taken off of my Datsun. Hope to have her fully painted in the next month (now that I finally decided on a color) or so and then on to the interior. It has been awhile but I hope all is doing well and maybe I can catch up on all the feeds I have fell behind on. Quote Link to comment
Kirden
Most of the lowered trucks I see running 18s run Titans. You have any pics of your truck? We really like picks around here :P Quote Link to comment

Dat-girl
I have found several sets of 17's but this is where I am at... I have a brand new set of 15's, 16's, and 18's in tires so I hate to go out and also buy a set of 17's just to change the wheels to what I can find easier. I have a set of chrome 15in smoothie wheels that I am just thinking about putting on the truck after I get it painted. Quote Link to comment

I don't know what happened to your roof rack :) I drove the truck a few days without it on and it just did not feel right. There has been a lot of metal work put into this truck over the past few months. Most people don't understand the changes because they did not know the body lines. I cannot wait to get it painted. Paint should be coming in any day now. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
If you dont give me the roof rack i will never talk to you again.I will befriend you.haha Quote Link to comment

Rocket Dog
Love the roof rack too. Nice clean truck. No back-up lights? Quote Link to comment
Dime Dave
Dat-girl, Your truck is comng along well. I like the clean look of the tailgate and roll pan. What are you using for gate latches? 1 Quote Link to comment
Dat-girl
I do not have backup light on the truck. I have slide latches on the inside of the tailgate to hold it in place. Quote Link to comment
Z chopper
I am liking the red rims that are on the truck, and the tear drop tail lights speak volumes to the hotrod inspiration. now what colour are you planning on? Quote Link to comment
Dat-girl
We eat sleep and breathe the hot rod world so it felt appropriate to use 39 ford tail lights. The body will be mint green with white scallops and a gold metal flake roof 1 Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
ARP part # 100-7701.you will need 5 packs if i remember right it is i think 5 studs to a pack, but the next problem is they are way to long so the next thing i did was have them all machined down. Quote Link to comment
