My buddy's old boss has a 289 and one of the customers had a 429 car, the 289 vastly out handled the 429, but the 429 had way more power. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, Ford was kinda stupid in shoving the 429 HEMI, actually a Semi Hemi, into the Mustang, when in fact it should have been shoved into a Galaxy or Torino.
