lol, yea, it was a good idea to lock it. It kept getting bumped and hogging the spotlight over there. Any new progress? I am on a high note after my weber install (nothing big I know but awesome to me...) so I want to see some mad Datsun wrok :)

No progress yet. Should get some minor stuff done this week. But with my computer dying this morning, updates may be a lot slower than the actual progress. :)

Some projects just sit. In the past i thought that was bad. But not so much anymore. If it is stored it's not getting smashed  :)

Ordered up some parts today, hopefully will install them this weekend. Got some caliper rebuild kits and pads for the rear brakes, new pads for the front brakes, a clutch master, clutch slave, and rubber line. So hopefully in the next two weeks it will at least stop, even if it won't go. :rofl:

Since I don't think I mentioned it, current plan is to swap in the S110 200SX axle (disc brake H165), and use Z32 4-piston calipers on 11" Z31 rotors/hubs up front. Should be more than enough brakes for the Z20E, or anything else that gets swapped into the car in the future. :thumbup:

Z31 hubs, early Z32 calipers. And possibly on M30 struts. This combo is supposed to work together well. We shall see...

 

If it does, good. If not, I'm just going to bin it all and get some 280ZX struts.  ^_^

I guess... I havent looked to see if you could redrill the hub/rotor. I was thinking of looking for these hubs, but you have thrown a wrench into my thinking with a picture you posted in the 210 WTB thread.

FYI, sized up the 4-piston calipers to the M30 struts and they do bolt right up and appear to line up correctly. But my Z31 4-lug hubs/rotors are at the shop, so can't say for 100% sure it'll work until Saturday.  :thumbup:

Same here... pretty excited about M30 struts. Id like to keep my skinny track width though, so we shall see what happens.

Ah. FYI, I'll be using 16x7.5 +33 wheels all around, and since the rear track is being widened 2", I need the track width gain up front.

 

And I want to see more about that M30/Z31/Z32 combo...

280ZX gear is the only way to keep the skinny track. EVERYTHING else widens it.

 

You could try something like this, or just get to fabbing your own caliper brackets. :thumbup:
