bananahamuck
If your studs ( blue arrows ) are 5 3/8 inches apart center to center than it should work.no problem.. Quote Link to comment

bananahamuck
I'll go dig mine out now. Shroud too. I asked you a couple of days ago to measure your clutch, Pineapple. But you didn't include arrows,,,, the kids today are all about arrows man. 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
The fan I have is only 4 1/4" across. I did find half the fan shroud though. I think the other half is on the radiator that is not here anymore. EDIT: Texting guy now. Mhub...you want my hood? Any of you wagon owners want my glass? Z-series owners...you want my round-eye grill? Need to fund this Portland trip to get my new dream Datsun. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Wow! Pg. 50. No arrows because, well...I have no excuse. Do the arrows really make kids do work? Do you put arrows next to your kids' dirty clothes on the bathroom floor? Or the mess in the kitchen? Who knew? Adding that to my repertoire now. FOUND THE FAN SHROUD!!! Both pieces! 2 Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
In those situations no arrows are needed , because after elemetary school, a stick and some form of riot gear would be a better option. You guys see this in project datto? http://community.ratsun.net/topic/58261-1979-kpa10-stanza-hatch/ 1 Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
I get the feeling this thread will slow down a lot since flatcat19 no longer has an A10... Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I get the feeling this thread will slow down a lot since flatcat19 no longer has an A10... I doubt that. These guys do work. I'm just going to have to get a bit more friendly over in the 210 thread. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 210 is now the 'new 510'    Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Not sure if I saw what you did there... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I was refering to my much earlier post... I said the HL is the new PL. About time the E/DEs started to be swapped in. This car really deserves the attention. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
You're gonna bring the "Keith needs to KA the 210" discussion over here too? :poke: It's not going to happen. L-powered 210. :fu: Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
All A10s. The HL being one. Quote Link to comment
mhub91
I'm not really a huge fan on L powered anything. While I do appreciate an incredible little engine, I wouldn't really ever want one except for a nostalgic purpose. My next datto will probably be a pickup, and I will have an L then, but only to keep it classic. When my HLA10 had an L20 I was disappointed. That thing was ridiculously slow... But that's probably due to the fact a HLA10 is far heavier than an older PL510 or an older 210. I could see how those would be fun. That's when I decided to just swap in a KA and have 150hp out of the box. Considering the HLA10 is about 600lbs lighter than a '93 240sx hatchback (which doesn't feel slow in stock form) I think it will be very fun to drive! So close to having the swap done! datzenmike
Heavier, yes but retarded gearing too. 3.545 and 3.364 Quote Link to comment
mhub91
3.36? Wtf? Haha... Jesus, no wonder acceleration was non existent. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I know, people say they are heavier, and maybe they are but the gearing is terrible. The 3.364 was on the Z20 HL. Must have better torque or something. Quote Link to comment
