My dads old 1975 620 DD - Sold now

weird... 13v is still technically low.. you should have closer to 14v with a complete electrical load.

 

Its charging fine. It was charging in the 13v range at all rpms... 

 

 

 

 I would pull the alt & have it checked just to rule it out. I've gotten junk remans in the past.

 

its a new remand stock alt 

 

all wires look good to me....

so this happened the other day...

without a jack that would fit under a lowered truck

 

 

 

 

 

without a spare tire in the truck

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

in the middle of an intersection

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and i couldn't just drive away cus the fucking U bolts for the lowing blocks were stuck in the asphalt cus i never trimmed them

since i couldnt find a white wall tire to match on short notice i slapped on my spare set of wheels from my 74 that was totaled

Fuck man Maybe I should get those things in my truck before this happens to me. Shit also trim the U bolts.

 

 

I like the white walls more but the black isn't bad at all.

 

the right answer is to pull some 720 4x4 leafs and ditch the blocks........

Haven't been able to drive the truck for a few weeks......

 

 

But I finally got time to work on it today!!!

 

Ended up that the battery had shit out and one of the front wheel cylinders decided to shit out too....

Well the starter shit out....

 

Replaced it with a gear reduction one I had from my 610

Then it was onto this years very broke and very minimal canby rush

 

Started with stockers and hubcaps
