ok, down to the last few things before i can check this build off my list for a while.

Im stuck, on a tranny.....

actually im stuck on how to mount said tranny propperly...

I pulled a 5 speed from a 720, and the truck had a 4 speed in it to begin with.

The 4 speed mount is about an inch too tall and the 5 speed diddnt have a mount.

Sooooooooooo, whats the correct x member and mount to install a 720 5 speed in a 620?

If they are the same length you should be able to use the same mount. If the old one in the shorter 4-speed you may need to order a new rubber mount and use the other ste of holes at the frame to mount the crossmember.

A 4spd crossmember is basically flat across the top surface. From the ends where it mounts to the frame to the center where the trans mounts.

A 5spd crossmember drops down about an inch just inboard of the frame mounting flange. The center section is still flat after that drop. So it is kinda like this.--\______/--.

Once you see the two styles, they will be obvious.

and no, the water pump i put in is aftermarket and doesnt have a clucth. So i need a different pulley and a different fan. Neither seem to be working for me so fuck it - electric fan and a switch it is
