Most auto parts stores have them or can get them, probly bout 20 a side. Check rock auto for prices

I had store credit at autozone so i got each piece for $3.

They were only $5 to start with.

they come in tomorrow.

 

I'll be sure to update.

 

I also bought some rear coilovers that I'm waiting for to come in.

I bought some thailand outer squeegees and it did not come with staples.

anyone have an idea of how to put it in?

 

I'm also stumped as to how I'm suppose to put all the other felts and squeegees in.

I somewhat found a write up but im not sure about the inner.

and is it mandatory to remove the window?

Finally put in zx struts and brakes in the front.
i broke a brake line but thats what happens when you learn and do it on your own for the first.
I'm really happy with the result.
 
It's not slammed but low just what i was heading for.

Throw out all that trash and it should look good :thumbup:

i've been saying that for the pass 3 weeks. haha.

but you know how this shit goes, you complete one thing, then anothers broken so you make a mess again.

within the next month my interior and suspension should be set and then I'll be shooting and get some sick pics that can compete with yours.  :thumbup:

So I cleaned up all the wires and what not under the dash and the passengers side of the car is complete. It looks great.

I had a question about overflow tanks.

How do people mount theirs in a 510 or put them?
I saw a couple threads and i saw the one with orange juice.
I was hoping to use an arizoa can? I already have the hose but not I'll have to find one with a cap. not the actual tin can :(

I also turned on the car today and took a vid since none of you have heard it.
it kills to see my engine bay like this.
want money to make it nice. wanted to do it white with the blue car. We'll see.

anyways...

just ran into a dumb ass problem.

I took off my points to take off my valve cover and totally forgot to mark which goes where on my dizzy...

I was wondering if you guys could help me anyway?

I know that there are only 2 of them i mixed up. they're either in the wrong spot and i know how to fix it.

I don't want to turn the car on and have some shit happen.

 

live and learn...

Any suggestions?

Put my matchbox dizzy and my carbs come tomorrow.

Bought some hs2 air filters that are pretty awesome!

 

I'll eventually have the car ready for me when I get my license by sunday.

 

I still need to get the drivers side door panel on but it'll be there soon enough.

I also put a hole through the doors for speaker wires that are nicer.

 

I'm getting coilovers in two weeks as well for the rear finally so that's a plus too.

So i got the filters and the carbs.
Problem, 
When i put these filters on, the holes dont align but I can just drill new holes for that because they're off by a couple mm.
 
but more importantly.... the filter hits this thing and won't fit....

So i got the carbs on and well but there's a piece in which i have no idea what to call it.
 
The metal piece that attaches to the metal piece on the carbs that twists causing everything to twist.
That metal piece is too long so I'm looking for a smaller one at autozone tomorrow.
I get my license tomorrow hopefully as well. 
 
Then I can drive this damn pos. 
Here's a pic and there are wires everywhere i have to clean.
 
I got an air filter for the valve cover and for the return fuel lines, I'm debating whether to keep them as they are or get some fuel lines and put em near the fire wall leaving gas to fall to the floor.
it looks awesome!
 
I need a good camera because my phone makes my engine bay look so shitty...

So I put everything in and i'm having a problem.

when I start the car, it raises in rpm's by itself.

It also backfired a couple times.

I don't know how to tune dual carbs.

t find any good holder for my coil...

A tune should fix that, try and find a diagram or something online

I did and I was able to tune my single weber.

I guess I'll have to try again. doing it on dual carbs is much harder than I thought.

I tuned it and it worked for awhile then after the third time starting it, rpm's starting going up and backfired.
