Gaddamn!! But the guy told me the core looks good. It just the tank that is leaking so he's goona fix the tank instead. A lot cheaper. Hopefully it will last until do the 5 spd swap nd get an aluminum rad. Quote Link to comment

skyblue Posted July 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 20, 2013 Got it back today. They took the tank off, cleaned it up and re soldered it with "good solder" as he put it. Pressure tested it. Good to go. $150. The guy said it should last a while. Quote Link to comment

skyblue Posted August 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Gonna make a list here of what I need for the swap and check things off as I go.- pedal cluster (Indy is providing this as soon as he's done with it)- clutch master- clutch slave- hard line- hose- flywheel- bearing- sleeve- slave pushrod- m/c rod, pin and clip -The plate between engine and trans -Sleeve for the trans that throw-out presses onto -clutch kit Its my first 5 speed swap so I'm probably missing something so if you guys think of something let me know.
