slingshot532
Looks good! How did you do that, stickers? I see you got your distributor mounted. Did you know that if you drill out the hole you can mount your mechanical fuel pump in the same spot like the l16?... If you wanted to. Quote Link to comment
VintageRice
Thanks. I went pretty tame on the exterior paint. So my motor/interior I had to splurge. I used lace. Got a yard for 5.99 at joAnn fabric. :) First layed primer, then HOK strato blue pearl witch chrome flake mixed in. then layed white over the lace areas. Then taped off the lace I wanted to retain and sprayed white over the rest. Wet sanded off the bare aluminum ribs and "nissan". Washed and Then cleared. I debated putting a bunch of chrome flake in the clear, but over white sometimes it just looks like dirt specs when its not sunny. Thought it would look cleaner without. Took a few progress pics with my iphone Quote Link to comment

Tristin
Did you get this technique from Pimp My Ride? They sprayed a set of sideskirts using lace for a 80s Mustang convertible. It was the only thing I actually liked from that show. Quote Link to comment
