datsunaholic
That was an awful clean truck, but it's all for show. I'll have a full set of Rockwells in a month or so. But they're staying where they belong... Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic
2eDeYe;56037'']Getting a new tow rig? :D Yup. I've decided the old F250 is not worth saving, and at 6MPG (at best I could get 10 out of it but that would mean a complete valve job) it was not economical. Not that the new rig is particularly economical either, but I've heard 11MPG isn't unheard of. Besides this "new" rig will tow about anything, anywhere, within reason. Only problem is figuring out how to run 12V trailer lights and brakes. But I still won't be able to pick it up for at least a month and a half (they said 45 days minimum for the paperwork to clear). makya
steering linkage looks extreeeeeeeemely unsafe, even with what looks like hydraulic assist. (which does not work as a steering dampener.) is that an 8lug 44 front? for the money, a four link could have been put under that truck which would be much safer, there's going to be a lot of lateral movement on those axles under sideload(i.e. cornering) Looks nice though. fiveNdime
I like lifted trucks to a point. My truck is lifted about 8" with 37's but its a show truck so I kept it low enough to see the engine. This one is too high in my view, but my view doesn't matter:D I think there is a limit but this is only my opinion. I do know however there is a tone of money and time in that thing. Well done! thisismatt
Man, I love those old C10's. They look so nice with a very minor lift and some aggressive looking tires. I don't like what they did to it because it serves no practical purpose, but I also know I would have never had an opportunity to buy that truck so... Quote Link to comment
Bugeye
damn, that is a huge bitch, I like it, hell i could use it out here when it rains Quote Link to comment
