mrbigtanker Posted July 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 Well so thanks guys,but here is the low down,the mounts are dead on but the problem is he [the guy a purchased the motor from] made the mounts to sit real low in his 510 when he was making them so passenger side winner driver side no bueno.Also the custom oil pan fits right ,wrong it fits but you cant steer the truck so thats a no go to the pan sits right in between the steering linkage need to look at this again. All in all i am pretty happy but a few things must happen,to make it fit right. 1] the oil pan has to be cut 2] the driver side mount needs to be re configures 3] the whole motor needs to go back or notch the front part of the frame,this is were the crank is hitting. But it is in and now just got to massage it to work,i popped the hood on the red truck and i looked again and was like well thats why the ka is so far back,dont like it up against the fire wall but thats what it will take to make work. mrbigtanker Posted August 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 Just bought a vac block for the AEM system and now i am probably going to delete the dist and go with the AEM pencil coils and the AEM puck so it will all be state of the art new.I think in the long run it should be worth it.
