Help identifying inner door handles!

I've got a number of these black inner door handles, but don't know what DATSUN they fit. Any ideas??

I have those as the back door handles of my wagon.

I got 6 or 8 of them in a box, from some parts deal. I've had a few Wagons, but they have all had the standard crecsent-shaped chrome handle, with the black plastic insert.

A very quick look shows they were only on the '68 goons but were on the '68 and '69 sedans. Not used on either for '70 and on.

What are these longer chrome handles, with the small "hook" on the end? I thought these were for the 68's?

My 69 4dr doesnt have those... Mine has the chrome and plastic insert ones.

The top chrome ones are front 2 and 4 doors '68 sedan/goon Canada only, is all I could find. The rears doors are not listed as the same as the fronts and would have to assume the rear doors in Canada are the black handle. ? (or there is a hole in the info)

 

The black handle is on US 2 and 4 door and goons.

 

ALL door levers changed to a third design in October '69 and stayed the same through the run. This is as near as I can decipher the info.

My 68 also has these chrome with the hook so I don't think they are Canada only.

It's possible. My info isn't clear on this and open to interpretation.

My info says the hooked one is:

* 80670-21001 handle, door inside - front/rear LH/RH sedan/wagon

I had a stock 70 wagon and it had those black handles on the back doors only. It looked like I was the first to remove them so I'm sure they were factory.

That goes with my 71 (12/70) wagon. Thing was bone stock when I got it.

Interesting how they used different handles front to rear, but that era Japanese car was NOT all about looks or consistency, it was about cost and fuctionality! :thumbup:
