slodat
I rode in this car yesterday. All I have to say is that "little" L18 pulls a lot harder than any L series powered dime I've been in.. Mine is pretty comparable. But this engine is VERY streetable. Smooth as silk idle. Ready to rev to 8k+. Nice work Mikey, Brian and Nelson!! It did a good job of carting my ass around picking up parts for my car!! Quote Link to comment
lynchfourtwenty
thats the one i got, i dont think it takes atf.. its the 83 maxipad 5spd which from what i can tell is the same as the 83zx NA 5spd i have some redline mtl to put in it Quote Link to comment

heirfaus
Hey Mike, I curious about your radiator situation. What was in there before that wouldn't cool it well enough? It says in a previous post that it was a 2 row, but how many rows is the fiero? It looks pretty thin... Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
it was a stock 2 row the fiero rad is aluminum it stay's between 180 and 190 now. it hit 195 on that 110 degree day we had here in tigard a month ago the stock rad worked fine with my l20 but with the higher comp from my l18 the stock rad could not keep up :( Quote Link to comment

Without a shroud it will pull no air through the radiator..... Quote Link to comment
