wayno
told ya, wayno did I read your mind? I actually don't incourage the making of 521 kingcabs, I do help with details, if they show an interest in making one. And yes I think it is all around easier if the finished kingcab is dropped onto a 720KC frame, as you get so much, for so little effort, and broken 720s are ratsun cheap. Quote Link to comment

blackdeth666
thanks for the picture quote tangmo:thumbup: and dirtydiesel I will hit you up! Well on my days off i decided to work on the cab rather than suspension because im waiting on my parts 720. got it all taken apart and the floor cut out then did some work around the garage to make room. also I picked up all the steel for the floors, went and picked up some new tools, and brought my buddys MIG over. TIG welding the new floor in would be just too frustrating..... 1 Quote Link to comment

blackdeth666
Heres what I did today, got the floor tacked in. hacked: its because i'm young and dumb, but i'm not gonna totally weld it up until its bolted back on the frame. Quote Link to comment
wayno
What is it, about a 2, maybe 3 inch body drop? you seem to be very good at cutting metal to match your needs. Quote Link to comment

hacked521
im not that old at all, im only 20 lol  hopefully it doesnt move around too much on you, if you bolt it back on to the frame like you said earlier it should probably be ok. i wish i could do a body drop on my 521 but im just way too tall, i would have to put a bubble in the roof in order to fit. blackdeth666
Well I got the driver side floor panel all made up and tacked in, and a pretty solid game plan for tackling the rest of the floor. Then on to the core support mounts and it will be ready to set on the frame and get all welded up! Does anyone know where to get new body mounts? or ones that will work? I'm goin with hockey pucks otherwise... keeping it ratsun :D cut this out and welded a new piece in new floor pan also picked these up for the front, some motivation to get it done! yokohaha s drive 195/40's on 16x8 stretchy stretch. :fu: for the haters Quote Link to comment
jon521
youve got some metal work skills! nice tatoos btw Quote Link to comment
Rocket Dog
That truck is sweet! I wouldn't do anything radical to it. Since you got it apart, good time to paint the frame and fix the problems. Good luck! Love the rims too + 1 Quote Link to comment
blackdeth666
Well as long as cutting the entire floor out isn't too radical I guess I won't.... And jonny, tattoos and metal are my life! Quote Link to comment

blackdeth666
I am a professional artist indeed! So as of now both patch floor pans are tacked in, i just need to finish the step up on the rest of the existing floor. also picked this up today at harbor freight for $48 after hand bending the front pans. oh well it should make the rest go quickly.
