When I look online they all look like thye are round... mine is in the center console and definitly looks like it has a square base... is this a special one I should be looking ofr something else? my other thought is try to find an universal leather one. datsunaholic Posted October 12, 2011 Report Share Posted October 12, 2011 The shift boot is round. It attaches to the plate on the floor. The console had a leather boot that clipped to the console and covered the rubber boot. Quote Link to comment

datsunaholic Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 There aren't any square ones. Never were. The rubber boot in a 620 was always round. The console had a leather cover clipped to it that covered the round rubber boot. I've seen folks stick an ill-fitting aftermarket square one in there, but it's not original. Quote Link to comment
