lil89ram50
hey guys, i'd like to see what others are doing for radios in these 521's. i do not have one at all, and would like to have something to listen to on my daily drives to and from work. would like it to look of the era. weather that means actually working, or just putting a factory one there, with a good radio/cd player under the seat or in glove box. lets see some options! i have no pics, mine came with a clarion 8trax Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
There's something to be said about Pandora and an awesome set of headphones. Quote Link to comment
RadioRedline
Lilram do you own a ipod or mp3 player? Get a amp 2x 6.5" speakers red/white rca to 3.5MM jack cord No deck is needed as you control the volume with your ipod. No holes and Factory radio is there, albeit not working. This is what I did in my Gray 620 Cds are so 2003... Radio 1 Quote Link to comment
hardslammed
i don't have any pics as it's not installed yet but i got an old becker radio from an old benz and modded it to play my ipod. i believe mostly all older radios can be modified to play mp3 players, keep that vintage look and feel Quote Link to comment
DatWifey
We don't have ours installed yet either, but we're doing the stock AM radio (which will be fully functioning), and will also do a small amp and have an aux input that will play the mp3 player through a new speaker behind the stock speaker box. Full stock look, but will allow mp3s as well...... or, Pandora as well from the phone, or whatever else may be desired. ;) Quote Link to comment

datsunwizard
No highs, no lows, must be Bose . Another one; You can Bang & Olfsen, but you can't Nakamichi. On a side note, Dat521gatherer we should talk, I was in the hi fi business for 21+ years, I have lots of vintage hi fi and lots of parts. Quote Link to comment
