Yes, the design is similar, in fact most cars use a McPherson strut suspension, especially FWD cars.

 

But the parts themselves are not similar. For example 510 does not use an A-arm, but instead a lower plain arm (tranverse link) with triangulation provided by the Tension Rod (caster bar).
