Str8_69
$500 a week seems pretty good for that kind of job, if you can deal with it! (Please don't call me) :D Quote Link to comment

Str8_69
Maybe try to find out what kind of quota they are gonna make you hit to get that $500, you might be on the phone for 12 hours a day... you know.. "Earn UP TO bla bla bla.." Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
Ive worked in and managed call centers on a few different occasions inbound/outbound/sales/customer service/ ect and if your willing to play by their rules and your good enought (by their standards) your golden - but in general, don't bank on it till you have been there a week or 2. MicroMachinery
Tire shop, you get the hook up on tires. Telemarketing, you get the hookup on a migraine. Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
If "they" don't give you a "Do not call" scrubbed list you are very much screwed! The fine is quite large for EACH call dialed to a number on the Do not call list. I take great pleasure in informing illegitimate callers that I am forwarding their info to the FCC and that they can expect to receive a $40,000 bill for each of their infractions! MikeRL411
spam@uce.gov is where you should send every call you receive if you are on the "do not call" list. It will cost them their ass! Quote Link to comment

Hardwyre
My sister-in-law needs a work-at-home job. Who does she need to talk to? She's good at bullshiting people. Quote Link to comment
FoxyRoadster
careful with some of these work at home telemarketing jobs, a lot of them function on a commission basis. Basically you are cheap as free labor with the hopes of a dollar in mind. Quote Link to comment
Dirk Diggler
Exactly what foxy said. Telemarketing in an office is fine, I wouldn't do it from home. Sounds like one of those "work from home 2 hours per month and make 20k a month just sending out junk mail!" schemes. Quote Link to comment
